In the Spring 2021 semester, students in "Peace and Justice in the Christian Tradition" identified the following figures as gurus of peace and justice in their estimation. Criteria students used in making their selection included things like the figure's understandings and practices of either peace or justice, as well as whether the figure they chose relied on spiritual resources for shaping their understandings of these terms and their commitments to them. In addition to offering biographical information, students provided links for readers who might want to engage with their ideas--and in some cases their organizations or art--further.
