The Connelly Library is transitioning from Digital Commons to a new institutional repository. There will be a period of time during which access is not available, beginning Monday 10/21/2024. Please reach out to refdesk@lasalle.edu with any questions.
The mission of the Connelly Library is to provide the highest level of information resources and services to the La Salle University community in support of teaching and learning, research, scholarship, and cultural preservation. The Library houses over 400,000 physical items and subscribes to many academic full-text databases that support the La Salle University curriculum. The Library is home to the La Salle University Archives, which preserve the historic records of our institution. The Library's Department of Special Collections houses a diverse range of materials, from 15th century rare bibles and prayer books, to subject collections treating contemporary social issues. The Library hosts the La Salle University Digital Commons feature, which is managed by the Department of Archives and Digital Initiatives. This digital platform serves as the institutional repository for research and scholarly output produced by the La Salle Community, including exhibitions, journals, conferences, papers, oral histories and more.
