- How to Search for Articles that are Full Text Online - Most articles in the library’s collection can be found online
- Via Summon - Search across all article databases at once using the Summon Search Tool
- Type a keyword, author, article title, etc. into the Summon Search Box(es)
- Limit results by Content Type in the left-hand toolbar
- Choose either Journal, Magazine or Newspaper Article or Choose All Three (see below)

- Via the Databases - Perform a more focused search in an individual article database
- Choose a Database from the Database List
- Some Databases only catalog Newspaper or Journal Articles, others catalog all Content Types
- Read Database Descriptions to determine which database has the Article Type and/or Subject Matter
- Type a keyword, author, article title, etc. into the search box(es)
- Via The E-Journal Portal - Search within a single Journal, Magazine or Newspaper using the E-Journal Portal
- Type the Publication Title into the E-Journal Portal Search Box
- Click the link to the Database through which we subscribe to the publication
- i.e. CINAHL Complete in the example below
- Note the subscription Date Range

- Type a keyword, author, article title, etc. into the box(es) that appear
- How to Search for Articles in Print – some articles unavailable online are owned in physical form in Connelly Library
- Via The Library Catalog
- Choose Periodical Title from dropdown menu next to search box
- Type Title of Periodical into search box
- i.e. New York Times
- note that "The" should be left off of the front of a Publication's Title
- Find Location Information in record
- Use Location Information to find Periodical
- Use Article Citation to find Article in Periodical
- Via The E-Journal Portal
- Type Title of Periodical into E-Journal Portal Search Box
- Find the Correct Record from the possible list
- Record will indicate which Date Range is held “in Connelly Library Print Holdings” and its Location in the library

- Use Location Information to find Periodical
- Use Article Citation to find Article in Periodical
Copy Machines, a Scanner and a Microfilm Reader/Scanner are available to make facsimiles of articles held in our Print Holdings.

- The Interlibrary Loan Department will search for, acquire and email the Article to the patron
- Most articles will be emailed to patrons within 24-72 hours of the request
- Harder to find articles could take up to 10 business days to receive
