Faculty Guide to Instruct: Credo Information Literacy Module: How to embed Instruct Multimedia in your class

Adding Instruct Links to an LMS

Links to the material in Credo Instruct can be added to your learning management system (LMS)--the online teaching system you use -  Canvas at La Salle University. Students will be able to access the material directly from the LMS, with no need for any extra log-in information. When they take a test or quiz via the LMS, their grade will sync directly to the LMS gradebook.

Instructional Design has already completed the one-time set-up that allows Canvas to recognize Credo as a tool provider, so you can use what are called "LTI links" to add Instruct material to your class. The LTI links are available from Instructional Design . You can view the course in Canvas here (must be logged into the Portal). Email and include the name of their course and the item(s) from Credo that you would like to add.

Direct Links

You can also add Direct Links to your Canvas course.  These will rout through the proxy server.  Connelly Library can give you direct links to any of the modules in Credo Instruct.  To get an idea of how a direct link works, take a look at the links on the Preview page of this guide.

Contact Eithne Bearden at if you would like Direct Links for any of the modules.
