The La Salle University Archives serves as the official repository for the inactive, non-current records of La Salle College/University. These records are those which possess permanent historical, administrative, legal, cultural and/or fiscal value, and document the history of La Salle. The Archives contains books, newspapers, magazines, manuscripts, audiovisual materials, and digital files. It is open for research by the La Salle community and outside researchers.

This is the text a talk by Jarrett M. Drake at the 2016 American Library Association Conference in Orlando, FL. The panel, entitled #BlackLivesMatter: Documenting a Digital Protest Movement, was moderated by Dr. Meredith Evans and also featured Makiba Foster and Dr. Charlton McIlwain.
