BUSCA (Bilingual Undergraduate Studies): Find Articles

About Articles

"Articles" come from newspapers, magazines, or journals (collectively called periodicals)

The Connelly Library subscribes to thousands of periodicals on a wide range of subjects. These periodicals may be available in electronic, print or microfilm. The Connelly Library catalog will tell you which format the periodical you are looking for appears in. Please note: sometimes a periodical is available in more than one format.

To find articles in periodicals, you need to use a periodical index. Most indexes are available electronically and are commonly referred to as databases. The library subscribes to many of these databases.

Looking for Articles

Looking for scholarly or magazine "popular" articles. Search the databases.

If you're not on campus, you'll be asked to log in before connecting to the database (see Off-Campus tab)

Use LibKey  to see if the article is available. If the article is not in our library or online, order it through Borrow from Other Libraries

If you're writing a paper or giving a formal presentation, don't forget to cite your sources! See RefWorks.
