Always login to Connelly Library resources via the Library Homepage. Do NOT go through the Portal. There have been problems with accesssing subscription databases from the Portal.
Since all our subscription electronic resources are authenticated by using IP address recognition it is necessary to submit a username and password when using the off-campus, since you are then NOT on a La Salle IP address.
When you first choose one of our databases during a search session, you will be prompted to put in your MyLasalle (i.e. Portal) password. Use whatever you normally use to access My LaSalle (i.e. the Portal).
Update your Account
In order to use our library effectively, you MUST update your library account. This is not done automatically upon registration. Without an updated library account, you cannot submit an Interlibrary Loan for material we do not have.
If you attend classes on campus, go to the Checkout desk in Connelly Library at the beginning of the fall semester to update your account. It only takes a few minutes. If you take summer classes you must update at the start of the summer semester as all accounts expire at the end of the spring semester.
If you are a Distance Education student or a Bucks County student follow these links to submit your updated information at the same times as the on-campus students (i.e. fall and summer). Remember that the forms you submit will be downloaded and updated the next business day by the library staff. It is not done by robots!
