Criminal Justice: Off-Campus

Logging in

Always login to Connelly Library resources via the Library Homepage.  Do NOT go through the Portal.  There have been problems with accesssing subscription databases from the Portal.

Since all our subscription electronic resources are authenticated by using IP address recognition it is necessary to submit a username and password when using the off-campus, since you are then NOT on a La Salle IP address.

When you first choose one of our databases during a search session, you will be prompted to put in your MyLasalle (i.e. Portal) password.  Use whatever you normally use to access My LaSalle (i.e. the Portal).

Update your Account

In order to use our library effectively, you have an updated library account.  This is should be done automatically upon registration. Check here to see if your record is updated.  You cannot do an Interlibrary Loan without an updated record.  You can use either your barcode or your La Salle ID number to do an Interlibrary Loan

  • If it is not updated, call 215 951 1292 or come into the Public Services Desk in the Connelly Library and Learning Commons
  • If you are a Distance Education Student and do NOT have an ID card with a barcode, you CAN update your record using your ID number.
